The Enviro-Swim System was the only sanitiser on the market that met stringent Queensland and New South Wales Department of Health guidelines before they were withdrawn.
The Enviro-Swim System uses proven sanitation technology in a simple to use system. It works by using silver-copper ionisation to sanitise swimming pool water, in conjunction with minimal amounts of approved sanitisers
Both copper and silver are active against a wide range of bacteria, fungi, algae and viruses, including the pathogenic organisms found as pollutants of surface water systems.
It also kills bacteria resistant to chlorine.
In addition to the ionisation process, the Enviro-Swim System commercial unit contains electronic oxidising and ultra sonic systems to oxidise organic compounds and help break down solid matter, which causes scaling especially in heat exchangers causing high cost associated when heaters are used.
The Enviro-Swim System reduces the dependence on chlorine in commercial swimming pools.
